August 9, 2017 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on July5, 2017 at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home news Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present: Bill Higgins, Jr, Bill Stellmach, Joe Fugaro, Ed Sheehan,  Absent: Ray Hughes

Chiefs Report

Commissioners have percentages.

Commissioner Stellmach would like the Chief to find out if the guys who missed the code of Conduct made it up.

Commissioner Stellmach would like the guys to their driver training who still need it.

Commissioner Sheehan would like the percentages posted on the computer in the hallway so the guys can see them.

Commissioner Higgins made a motion and was seconded by Commissioner Stellmach for the Chief to buy the fire extinguisher training. Motion was passed.

Commissioner Hughes will talk to Ed Timmes about the computer.

Commissioner Higgins made a motion and it was seconded by Commissioner Stellmach to get a new computer for the Chiefs office. Ed Timmes will coordinate.

Treasurer's Report, Commissioner Fugaro

Commissioner Higgins made a motion and it was seconded by Commissioner Stellmach to approve the treasurer's report. Motion passed.
