June 1, 2016 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on June 1, 2016 at 7:42 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised I the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present: Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Jr. and Ray Hughes.

Excused: Jim Souza

Communication and Bills:

None.

Chiefs Report, M. Mackey

Commissioners have their percentages.

The day crew needs to re-set the computers in the engines.

Commissioner Hughes talked about getting the computers in (5) engines.

Chief Mackey would like two sets of elevator keys.

St. John Vianney Fair is coming up. We usually give Deputy Chief Fugaro a car since he is on the other side of town.

Knox box for downstairs was ordered.

Every one of the truck side is moving up with Billy Stellmach becoming a Commissioner.

Elvis Rodriquez is not a fire man anymore. Having some problems at home and will look to go back on in the fall.

Treasurer's Report

A motion to accept treasurer's report was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Jr. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.

Went over during agenda meeting. They are having the alarm problem again on 12-35. They turned it off and put the switch on valet.

Purchasing, Commissioner Hughes, Jr.

A motion to replace the computers in the engines was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Motion passed.

Old Business

Ryan Dougherty found someone to fix the gear. We need to set up an account with them.

New Business

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Jr. at 7:57 pm. Motion passed.
