January 6, 2016 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting

The agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on January 6, 2016 at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Lights were put in the backroom.

Commissioner Sheehan and Commissioner Higgins, Sr. have a meeting with the architect on Tuesday regarding upgrades to the kitchen and converting the bathrooms downstairs to handicap accessible.

Light tower on 12-3 is still out. Mitch is looking at it.

12-31 had a battery put in.

12-1 is now on order.

March 8, 9, and 10 will be the next trip to Florida.

There is a water leak on 12-1. Not going to fix it with the new 12-1 on order. It is just a small drip.

February 20 is the date for the elections. All papers have been notified of elections.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Sr. at 7:50 pm. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.
